A Las Vegas woman arrested in August said police were detaining her because they had never seen someone “as good looking”. Now, she has been arrested again on suspicion of murdering her own mother.

Hend Bustami, 28, is facing a murder charge after police found her mother at home suffering from “multiple deep lacerations” after a 911 call.

Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department’s Lieutenant Dave Valenta said: “A 911 dispatcher received a phone call from a frantic female stating that her mother was dead.”

Officers arrived to find the 62-year-old, who died at the scene.

California Highway Patrol located Bustami near Barstow, California around 160 miles from Las Vegas. She will be extradited back to Clark County and charged with open murder, according to LVMPD.

In a separate incident, Bustami was arrested on August 31 for violating airport rules and allegedly failing to pay a restaurant tab at Chilli’s in Harry Reid International Airport in Paradise, Nevada.

She was seen sleeping near a checkpoint and was later found at the baggage carousel where she appeared to be drunk, according to an arrest report.

She became belligerent towards officers who she claimed were arresting her because she was “good looking”.

Bustami said “cops had never seen anyone as pretty as her” and threatened to spit on officers who she claimed were “trying to rape her because they never seen anyone as good-looking”, according to the report.

She was held on a $1,000 dollar bail for the airport incident and was scheduled to appear in court on October 27.

Anyone with information regarding the fatal stabbing has been asked to contact the authorities.
