A home cook has shared how to make a delicious sweet treat with old leftover hot cross buns.
Sydney-based foodie, Victoria Minell, created homemade hot cross bun chips covered in cinnamon with a pot of Nutella dipping sauce.
To create the tasty treats she sliced a six-pack of hot cross buns in half and then half again to make ‘chips’.

She then placed the hot cross bun chips into a large bowl and poured in melted butter.
Victoria then poured cinnamon sugar onto a large plate and dunked the butter-coated bun slices into the spices.
Once the buns were completely coated in the cinnamon sugar she laid the chips out onto a tray lined with baking paper and placed them into the oven.
She let the cinnamon coated chips bake for eight to 10 minutes or until golden brown on 180 degrees Celsius.
To serve the cinnamon chips she arranged them on a plate with a small pot of Nutella and finished with a final dusting of cinnamon sugar.
Victoria shared the recipe to TikTok where it has since received more than 212,000 views and hundreds of comments thanking her for the leftover snack inspiration.
