Vera Blue commands attention as she performs in a hot pink coloured J’Aton Couture gown during the Melbourne Fashion Festival

Australian singer Vera Blue was the belle of the ball as she performed in a J’Aton Couture gown at Melbourne Fashion Festival on Saturday night.

The 28-year-old singer turned heads in a hot pink coloured dress as she took centre stage at Melbourne Park.

Vera – real name Celia Pavey – opted for natural-looking makeup, wearing a nude lip and soft smoky eye, and her long red hair sat loose in cascading waves.

Before slipping into the gown, Vera turned heads wearing a floral print dress that featured a large bow tie at front.

She styled her look wearing a pair of blue heels that featured pink coloured laces. 

The Regular Touch singer threw her head back as she performed on stage, and looked to be in her element.

Vera’s career started when she auditioned for The Voice Australia back in 2013, joining Delta Goodrem’s team. 

After finishing third, she released her debut album that same year, followed by a second album in 2017.  

Joining Vera on stage were forty models. along with Melbourne’s most talented dancers and performers.

Vera’s Sydney stylist Jana Bartolo is believed to have been behind the pink performance ensemble. 

She provided a runway mid-show performing a track backed by creative duo Paul Mac and Jonny Seymour, better known as Stereogamous.

The event was attended by Harvey Petitio, Silvana Phillopousis and Melissa Leon.
