Many Aussie mums agreed, calling the product a ‘must have.’

‘This is not just good for convenience but also for those who are unable to use a knife properly due to illness or disability,’ one woman added.

Not all of Carolina’s followers were convinced the product is worth the price.

‘It’s easier to wash my board and knife then getting my finger caught on the slicer,’ one woman said.

‘Why? Then you have to wash it and store it. How about a knife instead?’ one man asked.

Another woman said she had to use ‘all my strength to chop half an onion’ and advised that the gadget is noisy.

Carolina defended her choice ‘I don’t have any knife skills so I prefer to use this,’ she explained.
