The Block’s Sharon Johal SNAPS at host Scott Cam for downplaying the scale of her renovation: ‘I think it’s much bigger than that’

The Block’s Sharon Johal was less than impressed after Scott Cam downplayed the scale of her renovation during Wednesday’s episode.

Scott and co-host Shelley Craft were visiting Sharon and husband Ankur Dogra’s property to discuss their progress.

Sharon told the pair the renovation has been challenging because they have ‘the biggest house on The Block’ – which is true.

But Scott didn’t think much of this excuse, arguing their house is only slightly bigger than the others.

‘It’s a big house, yes. But you know your house is only 14 square metres bigger than the next house? That’s it,’ he said.

Sharon angrily responded: ‘He always has to have a jab somewhere. “It’s only 14 square metres bigger.” I think it’s much bigger than that.’

It comes after Sharon was left sobbing last week after her fellow contestants savaged her gaudy design choices in the hallway she renovated with Ankur.

She wept uncontrollably in her car after hearing the feedback and had to be comforted as she spoke of taking a risk that backfired.

Tom and Sarah-Jane were the first to look over the elaborate rooms and deliver their verdict.

‘Not a fan of…’ Sarah-Jane said, before Tom interrupted: ‘Anything!’ He then compared the design to a ‘brothel’.

‘It’s pretty fugly,’ Sarah-Jane agreed, looking around in horror.

Dylan and Jenny were next, and Jenny was quick to say: ‘That’s so bad… Soz, Shaz’.

'He always has to have a jab somewhere. "It's only 14 square metres bigger." I think it's much bigger than that,' responded Sharon (right, with husband Ankur Dogra)

Rachel and Ryan also had some thoughts, with Rachel saying: ‘I feel like I’m somewhere in Europe and I’m in a hostel and I just paid 20 bucks for the night.’

Omar agreed the design appeared to look a lot like a house of ill repute.

‘Honestly, it looks like a brothel… that I’ve never been to,’ he joked. ‘Like the ones that you see in movies. Cheap movies.’
