The Apprentice’s Brittany Carter and Nick Showering have ‘hit it off during filming’ and have ‘grown close’, according to reports. 

Semi-finalist Brittany, 25, allegedly split up with her long-term boyfriend and ‘acted on her feelings after filming’ with the finance manager, 31.   

The pair were also spotted enjoying a night out with their fellow contestants at Kona Kai in Fulham last month after Nick was shown the infamous finger by Lord Alan Sugar.

A source told the Sun: ‘They hit it off during filming last year after living together for several months in the luxury contestant house.

‘She was in a long-term relationship but has since split with him and grown close to Nick.  

‘Everyone is talking about it and they make a cute couple. They waited until filming finished before acting on their feelings.’

It comes after the Apprentice bosses reportedly increased the number of minders in the contestant’s house in a bid to stop competitors having sex. 

BBC bosses upped the number of chaperones to prevent flings between business partner hopefuls, The Sun reported on Sunday. 

An inside source revealed: ‘Lord Sugar has always hated the idea that some of the contestants might be getting together behind the scenes while filming.’

They continued: ‘This isn’t Love Island. To him, the process should be solely about business. The latest batch of contestants face stricter monitoring than any past group.

‘Staff have been tasked with ensuring contestants keep their eyes on the prize and not on each other,’ they added.

Participants may allegedly even face being sent home from the competition if they’re caught romancing.
