A rogue cow that fell off a livestock trailer on an Atlanta-area interstate on Saturday caused a traffic jam as police officers corralled the farm animal.
The bovine caused the scene at about 9 a.m. on a busy I-285 in Dunwoody, running on the road and at one point leading to a three-lane closure, WSB-TV reported.
Local police, with the help of a bystander with a rope, were able to successfully lasso the cow and get it back to its owner.
“Chasing people is a norm for officers. However, chasing cows on the interstate… not so much,” the Dunwoody Police Department wrote in a Facebook post about the animal rescue.
