Recently-single real estate agent selling home says it includes her 'wonderfully rehabbed ex-husband

8 mins read

A real estate agent who recently listed a Florida home she is flipping has promised to include her ex-husband in the sale — and claims he will cook and clean for the new buyers.

Crystal Ball, 43, recently separated from her husband of seven years, Richard Chaillou, 54, but says the pair remain on good terms.

So when she listed one of her own properties in Panama City Beach, Florida, for $699,000 she included Richard in photos around the home, striking playful poses and flexing his biceps.

In a tongue-in-cheek listing, she says Richard is a ‘helping hand’ who will cook and clean for the new owners in exchange for a room in the property.

Crystal got her real estate license in 2019 and currently owns several properties in Panama City Beach, Florida, including ones she is flipping for a profit.

She and her ex-husband owned several businesses together and share a son, so they are determined not to fall out, she says.

So when it came time to list one of her properties, she thought it would be nice to include him and ensure he’d have a place to stay after their split.

‘Wonderfully rehabbed ex-husband up for grabs as tenant in this stunning Panama City Beach, Fl. home,’ she wrote in the listing, as captured by Zillow Gone Wild.

‘This dream man in the kitchen is a personal chef and server cooking up perfect meals on a new stove with updated countertops you can make memories on,’ she continued.

Unfortunately, Crystal said her listing keeps being taken down for violating rules

Photos show Richard, in on the joke, striking sexy poses around the house.

In one, he lays on a leopard-print rug, while another shows him with one foot up on a coffee table and his right arm flexed to show off his bicep.

He also posed on the bed, and smiled in several pictures alongside a giant stuffed tiger.

Her two children also make appearances in the images.

According to Zillow, Crystal previously purchased the home on March 24 for $380,000 and appears to have made some updates to justify the new $699,000 list price.

However, she is willing to knock money off the price of the house if she can flog her ex in the deal.

‘Me and Richard have had our problems but we’re all sorted now and want the best for each other,’ said Crystal, who lives in Birmingham, Alabama.

‘We’re still close as a family, and we wanted to use our divorce to help sell the house while looking after our own interests as well.

‘It isn’t a requirement that the buyer takes Richard, but the option is there for them if they’d like to knock some money off the price of the property.

‘The listing agents we’ve been through are trying to claim it’s against the rules what were doing, and they keep removing the house from their websites,’ she added.

‘Taking the photos was hilarious, and I particularly like the appearance of the tiger in some of the shots.

‘Hopefully someone sees the funny side in it and takes both the house and Richard off my hands sooner rather than later!’

The listing has gone viral on social media, with one Facebook commenter calling it ‘kind of genius in terms of marketing strategies’ and ‘hilarious.’
