WHAT IS NOROVIRUS?
Norovirus, the winter vomiting bug, is a stomach bug that causes vomiting and diarrhoea.
It usually goes away in about two days.
The main symptoms are nausea, diarrhoea and vomiting. Some people also have a high temperature, a headache and aching arms and legs.
Symptoms usually start one or two days after being infected.
People can usually manage their symptoms at home. The NHS recommends drinking lots of fluids and avoiding dehydration.
The virus is spread through close contact with someone with the virus, or eating food that has been prepared by them.
It can also be passed on by touching objects that are contaminated with the virus and then touching your mouth.
‘She hasn’t caught it my little warrior but I’ve tried to keep a little distance (that is hard when she still has boob) but I’m def feeling more normal just need some sleep and these belly ache cramps to go xx’
Earlier this week Lauren revealed she had fallen ill with norovirus and told fans she would be taking a break from social media to recover.
She wrote to her fans: ‘Currently have norovirus and it’s horrendous. Doesn’t go well with being heavily pregnant either. I am so unwell so won’t be contactable for a few days.’
Lauren learned that she was expecting her second child a mere eight weeks after welcoming daughter Larose in July 2021.
And she later detailed her fears surrounding the birth in a candid post on her Instagram Stories.
The mother-of-one admitted to her followers that ‘all I can think about is labour’ as she shared that she couldn’t get any sleep due to worrying.
She continued: ‘Giving birth and i’ve got to do it all again / scared’
After opening up in the Story, Lauren returned to Instagram on Tuesday morning to thank followers for their support and explain her upcoming birth plan.
She shared: ‘I’ve got an eight month old and i’m over seven months pregnant / not long and I do a home-birth that is natural (some gas and air) don’t like it.

Lauren shares her daughter Larose with the builder, who she ended things with in January – before confirming their reconciliation last week.
The former Dancing On Ice contestant had been in an on-off relationship with builder Charles since 2020, but previously split last November, before reuniting and splitting again in January over cheating allegations.
Insisting that she and Charles would never reunite earlier this year, sources claimed the pair were amicably co-parenting their seven-month-old daughter during their brief split.
