She said: ‘You could not sleep through that even if you wanted to. Last night was my first night in the new house, which was so exciting.

‘I’m not going to lie it didn’t exactly go to plan in terms of it wasn’t the relaxed vibes I was looking for. It wasn’t as straightforward and chilled as I’d hoped it to be.

‘Basically what I’m trying to say is I’ve definitely, definitely underestimated how living in a house with immense building work going on would be.’

Molly-Mae said rooms in the house are currenly being demolished and she hadn’t thought much about how loud it would be.

She said: ‘I think I just brushed past the fact that building work starts before 7am. The noise is unbelievable… I’ve never heard banging that loud.

‘Of course they’re demolishing bathrooms so it’s going to be really, really loud but I just hadn’t really thought about it.

‘I thought: ‘Oh yeah it’ll be loud and there’ll be banging and drilling and stuff but it’ll be fine, we’ll crack on with our normal day, we’ll just sleep through it.

‘Well let me tell you could not sleep through that even if you wanted to.’

Molly-Mae explained she and Tommy decided to move in early as she didn’t want her pet cats to have to stay in a hotel

She said: ‘It’s moreso a problem for the cats is what I’m a bit concerned about.

‘We moved them over last night and this morning when the building work started they did not know what to do with themselves.

‘They were terrified, they were trembling. The cats are very nervous anyway. It takes them a long time to get used to people, get used to new area.

‘I hadn’t really thought about that, I’d just skimmed over it.’

Earlier this week, Molly christened the shower inside her new mansion and ensured to tell her followers all about the event in the lead up – after extensive renovations to double the size of another bathroom caused a ceiling leakage.

She shared a video to her Instagram Story on Monday evening, and rated the experience ’10 out of 10′ in a mirror selfie which saw her nail bathroom chic in a white waffle robe and a matching head towel.

The couple recently purchased the six-bedroom abode, boasting a luxurious modern design, 5,000 sq ft of land, and a tranquil garden.

Talking her followers through preparations for the activity, the reality star began: ‘So guys, I’m about to have my first shower in the new house.

‘I don’t know why I’ve come on here to tell you guys that but, you know, just bringing you along…

‘So we did actually use the shower in the bedroom we’re staying in at the moment because we’ve got all of our clothes in this one, however it leaked really really badly.

‘I mean, it’s fine to have teething issues but yeah when you have your first shower and it leaks everywhere, not really ideal so I’m gonna try this shower.’

Molly-Mae pondered whether the leakage could have occurred as a result of ‘water systems being messed around with’ in her Story the following day.

She said: ‘Honestly I just heard a load of dripping noises, walked into our formal living room area, ceilings coming down.

‘The roof is saturated, the ceiling of the living room is saturated, the carpet is saturated. So that’s nice.

‘To be fair, I think we’re only having a few issues because obviously we’re ripping rooms out, pipes are being knocked, water systems are being messed around with so I’ll keep you updated.’

As a short-term fix, she placed a yellow bucket as well as a clear plastic tray and a selection of towels directly beneath the seepage.

Molly-Mae recently revealed she is doubling the size of the bathroom in her new £4million home and has splurged on a full length mirror costing £8,200.

Taking to her home account recently, the influencer shared a look at her new mirror from Timothy Oulton with a shimmering metal frame.

Alongside the post, she wrote: ‘Are you really…finally… mine?☁️ Some of you will know the story behind this mirror… this is not the first time I have purchased it.

‘Unfortunately this dream mirror of mine never fitted through any of the stairwells/ doors of the previous places we lived in and for ages I refused to return it in the hopes we’d find our new house imminently (too optimistic and the mirror was returned)….. finally after repurchasing, it sits today in our new home, I smile every time I stare at it.’

Meanwhile, Molly filmed a clip of her bathroom which is undergoing a drastic change, with a wall knocked down to double its size.

The star admitted she was hesitant to tell her followers about the renovations and insisted that any material removed from the home will be recycled.

She said: ‘I’m not going to speak too much about this bathroom today because I don’t want to upset anybody but one thing I do want to say, this bathroom is changing for structural reasons.

‘The bathroom is doubling in size, a completely different shape, size layout and everything. Things we don’t use will be recycled. Things won’t end up in a skip. The transformation is going to be insane.’

Molly-Mae and Tommy have also knocked down a wall in what will be their spacious master bedroom.

The reality star explained they plan on converting the lower half of the room into a living area complete with a TV and fireplace.

She said: ‘We thought it would be better to have the master bedroom as a more open plan space. We’ll have a living area here.

‘I’m really happy this wall is nearly all gone now and I can get a feel for how big the bedroom is going to feel.’

Molly-Mae added she is shocked at how quickly the renovations are coming along, saying the builders have only made a handful of visits to the property so far.

She said: ‘I’ve come back to the house today and I’m in shock at how much has changed already.

‘I’m totally prepared for them to take as long as they need to take, we’re not in any rush, but I can’t believe how much has changed already.’

A source told MailOnline: ‘Molly fell in love with the property as soon as she saw it.

‘It has everything she had been looking for including a luxurious contemporary design, stylish interiors, and a landscape garden.

‘Molly also loved the bohemian influences, which is reminiscent of her travels to Ibiza and Tulum in Mexico.

‘She purchased the house straight from the developer so wasted no time in snapping up the property after being so persistent with her search for the perfect home.’

Molly proudly announced the beginning of her ‘new chapter’ to her 6.2million Instagram followers last month, saying: ‘A three-year search for our first home, which some of you have followed, has finally come to an end.

‘I know a lot of you won’t have been expecting me to do a home account as I have become a lot more private about what I post of our home life. However, having a home account is something that I have always dreamed of doing.’

Molly’s new abode, which has recently been refurbished, has a grand entrance complete with double front doors, marble flooring, and an elegant staircase.

The house has six spacious bedrooms, multiple bathrooms, the main boasting his and hers sinks, and a large living space, where Molly and Tommy will no doubt relax of an evening while watching their favourite Harry Potter films.

The contemporary-chic property has a different feel to Molly’s rented Manchester home that had a minimalist design, her new place showcasing brighter colours, with green tones running throughout the aesthetic.

Molly and Tommy met for the first time on Love Island in a hot tub – and while their garden is yet to have one, there’s certainly enough space.

The landscape garden has wooden decking, a water feature, and ample amounts of furniture for hosting guests and parties, including a large outdoor dining table and two sun loungers.

Molly was forced to move out of her Manchester flat last October after being rocked by an £800,000 burglary.

The influencer was targeted in the horrific ordeal, and subsequently stopped wearing expensive jewellery, and sharing details of her home life on her Instagram to prevent further intrusions.

She also splashed out on round-the-clock security and stopped ordering takeaways to her temporary home over fears of a second security breach.

Molly explained to her followers that she has remained private about her home life following the break-in but having a house account has always been a dream of hers, and now is the ideal time to pursue her next goal.

Molly and Tommy have been in a relationship since meeting on Love Island in 2019, the couple exceeding expectations after viewers misjudged their commitment to each other.

Their Cheshire home is the first property they will own together following Molly’s career success as an influencer, and businesswoman, and Tommy’s boxing accomplishments.

In October, Molly admitted ‘I’d like a ring soon, please’ while talking about her romance with Tommy, which she described as ‘perfect.’

She said: ‘It’s been the best two and a bit years of my life with everything, with my work, with my relationship. I’m just so lucky.’
