Once off, the Spokane-born, LA-raised stunner was free to showcase her muscular legs wearing silver Aquazurra stilettos selected by stylist Molly Dickson.

You’d never know that Sydney – who boasts 13.5M Instagram/Twitter followers – confessed to feeling ‘so nervous and excited’ before the ‘Super Bowl of celebrity red carpets.’

Hairstylist Bobby Elliot coiffed Sweeney’s middle-parted bedhead and make-up artist Melissa Hernandez applied dark liner around her blue eyes, using products from Armani Beauty.

Speaking about the inspiration behind Sydney’s makeup look for the evening, Melissa explained that she wanted to create a clear contrast with the dress in order to finish with an overall ‘effortless and cool’ feel.

‘To contrast the elegant structure and glitter tulle overlay of Sydney’s Tory Burch gown, we went with hazy, lived-in smokey eyes and a muted matte sheer lip,’ she said. ‘I wanted the overall look to feel effortless and cool, yet fierce and unexpected.’

In order to achieve this, Melissa prepped Sydney’s skin with products from Laneige – a brand for which the actress serves as a spokesperson – before applying makeup from Armani Beauty, including the brand’s much-loved Luminous Silk Foundation and the Luminous Silk Glow Setting Powder to create a stunning radiance to the skin.

To enhance the eyes, Melissa used the Smooth Silk Eye Pencil for definition and the newly-launched Neo Nude Melting Color Balm on the lids.

After arriving at the Met Gala, the White Lotus star then dutifully posed with the 55-year-old designer and her fellow Met Gala muses Kerry Washington and Adwoa Aboah.

On March 23, the Night Teeth actress wrapped her role as South Dakota waitress Penny Jo Poplin in Tony Tost’s action crime drama National Anthem, which is now in post production.
