Speaking to GB News, royal expert Kinsey Schofield discussed the Duchess of Sussex’s popularity in the US, claiming that Meghan’s podcast was being “beaten by Kim Kardashian” in the Spotify charts.
The first episode was released back in August.
The podcast had a four-week break following the death of Queen Elizabeth II on September 8.
Meghan has, so far, been joined by a variety of guests including tennis professional Serena Williams, US singer Mariah Carey and American socialite Paris Hilton.
Meghan and Harry stepped down as senior working royals in 2020 and have since been carving a new path for themselves after declaring, in their official announcement, that they wanted to be “financially independent”.
The couple signed a multi-million dollar deal with Netflix in September 2020, but are yet to release any content.
Prince Harry is also set to release a tell-all memoir, which was originally set to be published in November.
