Influencer Louis Pisano apologized on Friday for spreading a rumor that A$AP Rocky and Rihanna broke up because of infidelity.
The social media star took to Twitter to apologize for tweeting out the unsubstantiated claim involving the pair.
They posted a long text post with white lettering against a black background where the writer said it was a ‘dumb decision’ to post the claim.
Rihanna and A$AP have since been seen together on vacation in Barbados.

‘Hi all, so I’d like to address the situation,’ they said.
‘Last night I made a dumb decision to tweet some information I had received. I’m not going to talk about sources, blame others for a discussion that was started, etc because at the end of the day I made the decision to draft that tweet, press send and put that out with my name on it.
‘So I’d like to formally apologize to all parties I involved with my actions and for my reckless tweets.’
‘I fully accept the consequences of my actions’: Hours after Amina’s denial, fashion blogger Louis Pisano – who started the rumor – had taken to Twitter to release a lengthy statement to ‘formally apologize’ to all parties involved
They then took the blame: ‘I full accept the consequences of my actions for my tweets and any harm they caused.
‘I have no excuse for it, I’ve been way too wrapped up in Twitter drama and unfortunately leaned into being messy as a brand which is something going forward I am going to move away from.’
They then reported they would be taking some ‘time away from Twitter’ so they can ‘start using my platforms better.’
Big drama: Pisano originally tweeted out, ‘Rihanna broke up with [ASAP] after she caught him cheating with shoe designer Amina Muaddi’ (pictured February 2022)
The drama all started when Pisano tweeted out, ‘Rihanna broke up with [ASAP] after she caught him cheating with shoe designer Amina Muaddi.’ The tweet has since been deleted.
Muaddi took exception to the falsehood and made a statement of her own on Friday in which she called the claim ‘an unfounded lie.’
She wrote: ‘I’ve always believed that an unfounded lie spread on social media doesn’t deserve any response or clarification, especially one that is so vile.
‘I initially assumed that this fake gossip – fabricated with such malicious intent – would not be taken seriously.
‘However in the last 24h I’ve been reminded that we live in a society that is so quick to speak on topics regardless of factual basis and that nothing is off limits.
‘Not even during what should be one of the most beautiful and celebrated times in one’s life. Therefore I have to speak up as this not only directed towards me but it is related to people I have a great amount of respect and affection for.

Root of the rumours: Fashion blogger Louis Pisano sent Twitter into meltdown on Thursday when as they announced the pair had split and claimed infidelity had been to blame
‘While Rih is continuing to live her serene, best dressed pregnancy life and I go back to my business – I wish everyone a beautiful Easter weekend!’
A source directly connected to both artists had earlier told TMZ that the cheating and split rumors were ‘100% false on both counts’, adding ‘one million percent not true. They’re fine.’
Three days ago, Rihanna was spotted in a pair of shoes designed by Amina, and reposted images of the look on Instagram.
Amina, 35, previously told British Vogue how her working relationship with the singer began, explaining: ‘Rihanna’s stylist and I are friends, so he saw some early prototypes. But then she bought a few pairs herself via her personal shopper.
‘She’s such a nice person. She sent me some Fenty clothes when she launched her own label – I feel amazing when I’m wearing them. There’s that swagger, you feel like you are channelling Rihanna.’
She added to Harper’s Bazaar: ‘Fenty reached out to me because Ri liked what I did and she was wearing my shoes and rocking them flawlessly.’

Louis claimed in their tweets that A$AP, 33, and Amina had dated in the past, but although the pair have been friends for years, it is not known if their relationship was ever of a romantic nature.
The duo collaborated on a shoe collection in 2020, however, with Amina telling Vogue at the time: ‘I wanted to do it with someone who shares my values and my perspective on creativity and design.
‘Rocky doesn’t compromise himself in his work or whatever he does; he’s a perfectionist the same way I am.’
