Kyler Murray is on the hunt for a mega million-dollar contract extension, but that doesn’t mean the Arizona Cardinals quarterback isn’t willing to give back.
Murray is putting his Snickers “Hungriest Man of the Year” gold chain and charm up for auction at Lelands, and the quarterback has instructed that all proceeds from the sale benefit frontline workers in Arizona, including nurses and essential healthcare workers.
The Cuban links chain and charm was created by Ben Baller, the Los Angeles-based jeweler known as the “Jewelry Maker of the Stars,” and is valued at $60,000. The chain weighs 402.7 grams and has a Snickers “S” featuring 45 diamonds, blue sapphires and red rubies. It includes a “Hungry” charm made of 10k yellow gold that features an additional 2,000 diamonds, sapphires and rubies.

The chain was gifted to Murray after he was named winner of the second annual Snickers “Hungriest Player of the Year” in 2020. He won the weekly award upon throwing a game-winning, 43-yard touchdown pass to DeAndre Hopkins with two seconds left to play. Hopkins caught the pass in the end zone while covered by three Bills defenders as the Cardinals beat Buffalo 32-30 at State Farm Stadium.
The play became known as “The Hail Murray” and the folks at Snickers were so impressed, Murray was later selected as the winner of the award for the season and received permanent possession of the chain.
Engraved in the back of the chain is an inscription that reads “#BENBALLERDIDTHECHAIN” and the piece comes with its original Snickers box. To bid on the chain, which is listed under Lot #1196, visit www.Lelands.com.
