Still the king and queen of the airwaves! Kyle Sandilands and Jackie ‘O’ Henderson number one again in radio ratings

The Kyle and Jackie O Show is still the leading FM breakfast program in Sydney. 

Kyle Sandilands and Jackie Henderson’s were once again crowned the king and queen of the airwaves in the second radio ratings survey of the year for the 26th consecutive time. 

The pair won a 11.3 per cent share of the audience, up 0.7 from the last survey.

Meanwhile, 2GB won the largest share of Sydney’s audience overall.

2GB registered a 14.3 per cent audience share – a one-point jump from the previous survey – with Ben Fordham’s breakfast show scoring 15.5 per cent of the audience for the network. 

The survey also brought good news to WSFM’s Jonesy and Amanda.

Their breakfast show leapt up 0.1 to 9.2 per cent in the ratings, giving the duo their best result in the survey since mid-2018.

The best performer in the drive-time slot was KIIS FM’s Will and Woody, who scored close to a 10 per cent audience share.

2Day FM’s breakfast trio Hughesy, Ed and Erin also received a boost, earning their best audience share in three years with 4.2 per cent. 

The ABC network suffered the worst in the survey.

Youth station Triple J dropped from 20 per cent to 15.4 per cent from the last survey while ABC Sydney shredded 1.3 per cent of its audience to settle with a 7.9 per cent share. 

Triple M are continuing to win listeners, scoring a 5.3 per cent share – their best result in two years.

The top five station rankings were 2GB and KIIS FM in first and second position, followed by WSFM, SmoothFM and ABC Sydney coming in fifth.
