Kate and William to 'carve pumpkins' with George, Louis, Charlotte and the Middletons

Kate, Princess of Wales, and Prince William will likely take the couple’s three children to the Middleton households during Halloween, a royal expert has suggested. The Prince and Princess of Wales, 40, recently made the move from Kensington Palace in central London to Windsor, in Berkshire.

The move placed the family closer to both Kate’s parents, Michael and Carole Middleton, as well as her sister, Pippa.

Prince George, nine, Princess Charlotte, seven, and four-year-old Prince Louis also moved schools, the two eldest leaving Thomas’s Battersea for Lambrook School.

Former BBC royal correspondent, Jennie Bond, has suggested the move closer to Kate’s family will offer further opportunities to celebrate key events of the calendar together.

With Kate’s parents just a short drive away in Bucklebury, Berkshire, the Wales family can “pop there for lunch or a cup of tea”, Ms Bond said of their Halloween plans.

She told OK!: “They’re bound to be doing crafts and pumpkin picking.

“Halloween is a big thing now so I’m sure they’ll be going to a pumpkin picking farm and carving them out.”

Earlier this month, Carole Middleton said she was “looking forward” to decorating pumpkins with her “loved ones”.

Kate’s mother described Halloween as an “Autumn highlight” that recalled moments of her childhood.

“And then the day after they started the term the Queen, their great-granny, died.”

The three children had their first day at Lambrook School, with September 7 being young Louis’ first ever day attending school.

Ms Bond described the period of adjusting to school life while dealing with the death of the Queen as “pretty traumatic for them”.

She said the family were surely “more than ready for a relaxing half-term break”.

She continued: “They have two weeks off altogether so they have plenty of time to spend in the various options they have.”

Kate has been spotted previously shopping for the young royals’ Halloween costumes in a Norfolk supermarket.

She was spotted in a Sainsbury’s shop in Norfolk ahead of October 31 in 2019.
