Beginning the clip, Joss explained: ‘I have a bit of an announcement to make, which is kind of mixed. It’s beautiful and not at the same time. In one sense it’s completely beautiful, but the story that comes first is not.’

The singer explained that she was going to have to move performance dates, which is why she was going into detail about what’s been going on in her life.

Joss continued: ‘Last year, in October, I lost a baby. And it was really horrible, because it was my baby. And I know that a lot of women go through that,’ said the singer, as she broke down.

‘It was hard, it was just not very nice. So I went to the doctor and I said to him “why, why has this happened?” and he said: “We don’t know why, Joss, these things just happen just by the luck of the gods. It’s not your fault.”

She explained she pressed him for an answer why, and recalled: ‘He goes “well, maybe now your baby is an angel watching over you.”

‘And I went “nope, the baby is too small to be an angel. It shouldn’t be an angel, it should be looked after by me.”

‘I’m telling you this story, because I want everyone to understand my next moves at the heart behind it. And he was right we shouldn’t feel alone, it happens to a lot of women.’

She added: ‘It’s sh**ty, it’s a horrible, horrible thing. And it’s not something that you can get over. It’s something that you have to live with.’

‘He said to me, “come back in Spring and we’ll do a well woman check and make sure you’re all good and go from there”, so I said: “Okay doc, I will see you when the daffodils bloom” and this is what happened…’

Joss then shared a clip of herself walking through daffodils and holding up a positive pregnancy test.

‘So, that’s the beautiful part of the story, is that there are rainbows after storms, and it’s just lovely and I’m very excited. I can’t wait to meet my baby.

‘And I hope and pray that everything’s okay. And I’m just, I’m very excited to announce it but I didn’t want to not acknowledge my baby before.’

Joss then held up the scan of the baby which she lost, pointing out how ‘tiny he was’ and the scan of the baby she’s currently pregnant with.

She said: ‘he’s a bit bigger’ before explaining that she went for a later scan because she didn’t want to ‘jinx’ anything.

‘Ahh life, doesn’t it give us all sorts of different things to deal with. And we can, we can deal with the good bits and the bad bits. And we can get through it, and loveliness will come. It will come.’

She later added: ‘Any prayers and well wishes and any good thoughts that you can just send out there are welcomed in this family. We’re very excited.’

Joss then explained that she would be announcing which dates she can play, as she balances her workload to be healthy and ‘give her body a chance.’

She concluded by saying: ‘I hope that this hasn’t depressed you or anything. I hope that you see the positive.

‘I like to bring good news. That’s why I haven’t really said anything before about the other thing, because that was just bad news. And now it’s a combination.

‘And, life is full of different things. It takes all different colours to make a tapestry. And some of those colours are bright and beautiful and some of them are a bit dull and dark, but we need them all.’
