Jennifer Garner clears up ‘mom fail’ while promoting movie on The Late Late Show With James Corden

Jennifer Garner has revealed the embarrassing moment she inadvertently sent a group email while replying to a private message from her son’s school tutor.

The Hollywood actress, 49, was left red faced as a consequence of the gaffe, which she described as a ‘mom fail’ while appearing on Tuesday’s edition of The Late Late Show With James Corden.

Her embarrassment was compounded after actor Greg Kinnear, 58, joined her on the show – because he was one of dozens of people to receive her unintentionally public email.

Jennifer explained that the two friends have children in the same age group who attend the same school in Los Angeles.

James then said he was told there was something that Jennifer would like to clear up with Greg.

‘I had a mom fail. This is true, about to tell you a true story. This is a true confession,’ Jennifer said.

‘So we have kids who do the same activity, and I emailed the coach one weekend, kind of being funny about my kid and saying, ”Well, this one seems to be getting a little womped this weekend.

‘So what does that mean for tomorrow morning because we have something planned? What does that mean typically?” And I was being funny, I thought I was being funny,’ Jennifer said.

‘Wonderful kids, they do well, they’re great,’ Jennifer said referencing her three children with ex-husband Ben Affleck, 49.

‘Turns out it’s the one time in my life I replied all. I replied to everyone on the team, to every parent, including you and Helen. Do you remember this? Did you guys feel like, ”Oh, gosh, man, I thought she was nice. What a jerk,’ she said.

‘I do remember this,’ admitted Greg.

‘And I remember thinking Jennifer Garner is a raging lunatic. Sweet enough, but I had no idea,’ Greg said.

Greg added that he’s done the reply all before and said there was no judgment of her.

‘Did it come off cute and funny and like I’m super chill?,’ Jennifer asked.

‘No, no, no,’ Greg said.
