Jay-Z was seen spending a bit of quality time with his daughters Blue Ivy and Rumi during Super Bowl LVI, which took place at the SoFi Stadium in Inglewood on Sunday.

The 52-year-old rapper was every bit the proud father as he took photos of his two girls jumping for joy on the field of the major event.

He and and his eldest child, aged ten, were even spotted checking one of the photos on his phone while standing on the field’s sidelines during warmups before they made their way to another part of the venue.

The Grammy-winning performer shares Blue Ivy, as well as his other two children, with his wife of over a decade and frequent collaborator, Beyonce.

Jay-Z initially began dating Beyonce in the early 2000s after they collaborated on the track ’03 Bonnie and Clyde.

The two went on to tie the knot in 2008, although they initially kept their marriage entirely private.

The Crazy In Love singer, 40, later announced that she was expecting to welcome a child, and the couple started a family with Blue Ivy’s birth in 2012.

Jay-Z spoke about his parenting style during an interview with The Sunday Times, where he expressed that he and his wife were committed to making sure that their children understood that their parents were supportive of their efforts.

‘Feeling loved is the most important thing a child needs…as long as your child feels supported, and feels loved, I think anything is possible,’ he said.

The performer then noted that he and Beyonce had to come to terms with the fact that their kids would grow on their own and develop their own personalities.

‘It’s easy for us, as human beings, to want our children to do certain things, but we have no idea. We’re just guides,’ he said.

Jay-Z then made a point of stating that he and Beyonce wanted to ‘make sure we provide a loving environment, be very attentive to who they want to be.’

He went on to liken raising children to the game of blackjack and expressed that, although he and his wife would occasionally make mistakes as parents, they were still confident in their caregiving abilities.

‘You’re not gonna be right all the time, and you’re gonna fail — and you’re gonna fail big, you know? But you’re also going to win big, and when you’re right, you’re gonna be really right,’ he said.
