Rodents begin to seek shelter indoors away from the chilly and damp conditions outside.

However, if they do seek solace in your home, mice run the risk of damaging wires or carrying bacteria.

The British Pest Control Association (BPCA) says mice should be gotten rid of as quickly as possible since mice are adaptable, highly mobile and breed rapidly.

Whether in the kitchen, attic or even scurrying about in the walls, homeowners who spot a mouse may want to quickly get rid of the problem.

Of course, the best way to avoid a mouse infestation is to protect your home against mice gaining entry.

Alas, mice are resourceful creatures and can find their way into your property through even the smallest opening or crack, which can make protecting your home a tricky task – but not an impossible one.
