Emma Stone crossed paths with an old flame on Monday evening as she attended the Met Gala at New York’s Metropolitan Museum of Modern Art.
The actress, 33, was reunited with Kieran Culkin, more than 10-years after they dated while playing a young couple in 2009 comedy Paper Man.
Mingling with guests outside the iconic Met, a delighted Culkin, 39, wrapped an arm around his ex-girlfriend’s waist as they posed for photos before making their way inside.

The Succession star was attending the annual event without his glamorous wife Jazz Charton, and he dressed appropriately in a dashing tuxedo.
Meanwhile Emma shimmered in a modest satin slip gown from Louis Vuitton, decorated with sheer layers and long white ostrich feathers.
The Oscar-winner secretly married Dave McCary in the summer of 2020, after initially postponing their spring nuptials due to COVID-19.
They welcomed their first child together, daughter Louise Jean – named after Stone’s grandmother – in March 2021.

Stone dated Culkin for two years after working on comedy flop Paper Man with co-stars Ryan Reynolds, Jeff Daniels and Lisa Kudrow.
While the film sank without trace – getting only a limited released across north America – the former couple’s romance blossomed before finally ending in 2011.
Culkin, the younger brother of former child star Macaulay Culkin, has been married since 2013 and raises daughter Kinsey Sioux, two, and son Wilder Wolf, nine months, with wife Jazz.

The Metropolitan Museum of Art Costume Institute Benefit, also known as the Met Gala, is considered by many as the ‘Super Bowl of celebrity red carpets.’
Fashion’s biggest night is traditionally held the first Monday in May to raise money for the Costume Institute in New York City, with last year’s event moved to September due to the pandemic.
This year’s dress code was ‘gilded glamour’ to match the theme of ‘In America: An Anthology of Fashion,’ a continuation of last year’s ‘In America: A Lexicon of Fashion.’
Tickets for the glitzy event can reportedly cost up to $35,000 apiece, while prices for a table range from $200,000 to $300,000, with last year’s bash raking in a whopping $16.4 million for the Met’s Costume Institute.
