Meghan Markle’s best friend and makeup artist Daniel Martin has hinted that the Duchess has big plans for May as he revealed he is reuniting with her royal hairdresser next month.

The Seattle-born make-up artist, who won high praise for creating Meghan’s natural make-up look at her 2018 wedding, joined her hairdresser George Northwood at the Invictus Games 2022 last week.

And after the stylist shared an Instagram post about the event, Daniel commented: ‘I miss you already but so happy I’ll see you next month my friend.’

The duo have become core members of Meghan’s glam squad over the last few years, and have joined her for high profile appearances including her 2018 wedding and Megxit tour.

While it is not clear which plans the pair could be referring to, the Duchess will mark her son Archie’s birthday on 6 May, while Mother’s Day in the US is celebrated on 8 May.

It comes as questions remain over the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will return to the UK in June for the Queen’s Jubilee celebrations.

Daniel has long been friends with Meghan after meeting while she was filming Suits in Toronto in 2011 and won high praise for creating Meghan’s natural make-up look at her 2018 wedding.

Meanwhile George, 41, from London, has worked with the Duchess for the past four years.

He was responsible for her chic wedding reception ‘messy bun’ in May 2018 and all 40 of her looks on her and Harry’s 2018 tour of Australia, New Zealand, Figi and Tonga.

Earlier this week, Daniel dedicated a post to the Duke and Duchess, writing: ‘To witness what Prince Harry created for so many who have served around the world has been a humbling, and remarkable experience I will never forget.’

‘Thank you Harry and Meghan for allowing me to join you on this experience of a lifetime.’

Alongside an image of his pass for the games, he wrote: ‘My father is a veteran, my brother a veteran and my best friend also a veteran.’

Speaking previously about their friendship, Daniel revealed that Meghan  didn’t have a publicist, so  she personally reached out to Daniel’s agent at The Wall Group when she was in need of a make-up artist.

He said they both had an ‘instant connection.’

‘I knew what she wanted—it was one of those things where, she looked at herself in the mirror and was like, “Oh my God, this is what I always wanted, but I didn’t know how to get there,” he told d beauty website Into The Gloss

The pair then kept in touch and while working on her former blog The Tig, Meghan asked Daniel to give her a helping hand.

Daniel has not been shy talking to the press about his royal connection. In December he told People magazine that Harry and Meghan are ‘loving life’ as a family-of-four, at their $14m mansion in Montecito.

‘It’s about finding that work-life balance now. They’re experiencing it themselves,’ Daniel said.

But despite the challenge of finding a work-life balance, Daniel described the pair as ‘funny’ as ever as he did Meghan’s make-up for the gala at the Intrepid Museum in November.

Admitting that meeting them in Big Apple was ‘so much fun’ and felt ‘like the gang was back together, Daniel said: ‘Harry jokes around a lot, and Meghan is really funny. It was nice to have those belly laughs again!’

‘They are loving life as a family of four. ‘They’ve struck a rhythm as a foursome.’

Daniel’s comments come as questions remain over whether the Sussexes will return to the UK for the Queen’s Jubilee in six weeks.

In the post online, Daniel said the games had been an'experience of a lifetime' as he thanked the couple, casually calling them'Harry and Meghan'

There has been speculation over whether he and his family will make a palace balcony appearance with the Queen during commemorations for her jubilee.

But days ago, Prince Harry still refused to commit to attending her Jubilee celebrations.

He again blamed ‘security issues’ for being unwilling to commit to him, Meghan, Archie, two, and Lilibet, 10 months, joining Her Majesty and the rest of his British family to mark the Queen’s 70 years on the throne.

Harry and Meghan made a secret visit to Windsor last week before the Invictus Games but in his High Court battle with the Government he has said he ‘does not feel safe’ in the UK. Former royal bodyguards have insisted that when with the Royal Family or on royal property, the Sussexes would be fully protected by armed police.
