Channel Nine’s Lego Masters dominates the ratings and BEATS Ten’s MasterChef Australia to become the top entertainment program of the night

Lego Masters has sensationally toppled MasterChef Australia in the ratings.

Sunday night’s episode of the brick building competition was the top entertainment program of the night.

The reality series topped the demographics and pulled in 511,000 metro viewers.

The figure puts it ahead of Channel Ten’s MasterChef, which managed to draw in 442,000 viewers.

Despite the win on Sunday night, Lego Masters’ ratings was down from its premiere on Monday, which launched to 672,000 viewers.

The family-friendly program regularly reached more than a million metro viewers per episode in 2020.

Season one of the show also managed to draw in an audience of 1.372million back in 2019.

Channel Nine previously gave fans a glimpse inside the show’s Brick Pit.

It contains 3million LEGO pieces and almost every piece is arranged by colour.

There are 60 different shades to choose from, and it took a team of 122 people and 1,098 hours to organise the room.

Meanwhile, MasterChef’s ratings were also down from previous seasons.

The Channel Ten cooking show managed to pull in 545,000 viewers for its premiere on Monday.

Last year, the series launched to 670,000 viewers while its 2020 season premiered to a whopping 1.268million metro viewers.
