Brooke Shields, 56, poses up a storm with daughter Grier Henchy, 16, as pair attend New York exhibition of portraits inspired by iconic model’s contribution to 1980s pop culture
Brooke Shields and daughter Grier Henchy posed up a storm in front of portraits of the iconic model at an exhibition opening at the Louis K. Meisel Gallery in New York on Wednesday.
The 56-year-old mother hugged her grinning 16-year-old, whom she shares with husband Christopher Henchy, as the duo both rocked bold power suits in front of Brooke-inspired artworks.
The Blue Lagoon actress contrasted her mini-me’s black-and-grey printed ensemble with a crimson pant-suit.

Under her blazer, Brooke wore a skin-tight mint-green turtleneck studded with chunky diamante gems.
She kept the rest of her look simple but chic, with a series of silver hoops along both ears, styling the clothes with a pair of white sneakers.
The star’s make-up accentuated her dark feathery lashes and brought together Brooke’s bright contrasting hues with a muted, glossy plum lip.

The model showed off her signature thick brows, framed by her equally famous coarse, long locks, which were highlighted.
Matching her mother with a cool, oversized blazer and slacks, Grier also sported a bright pink pair of sunglasses on top of her head.
The teenager finished her ensemble with a pair of Nike sneakers and some gold hoops, slinging a small black handbag over one shoulder.

Both appeared to enjoy themselves as they struck silly poses in front of the art pieces.
The project is a collaboration between Brooke and artist Tara Lewis.
Aptly titled Role Modeling, it features Tara’s depictions of Brooke’s contribution to and shaping of pop culture in the 1980s through a series of portraits.
Controversial: When she starred in the Calvin Klein ads at just 15, Brooke was given a notorious line: ‘You want to know what comes in between me and my Calvins? Nothing’; seen in the 1980s
Brooke – who has had a successful modeling and acting career that spanned decades – is perhaps best known for her 1980s Calvin Klein ad aged just 15.
She was given a notorious line: ‘You want to know what comes in between me and my Calvins? Nothing.’
The double entendre set off a furor on account of Brooke’s being an underage girl, to the point CBS and ABC banned the commercial.
Earlier this year the model went topless in a smoldering new series of ad photos for a Jordache spring 2022 campaign, advertising jeans again more than four decades after her infamous Calvin Klein stint.
The star and her husband also have an older daughter Rowan, who is 18.
Last month Brooke and Grier celebrated their relationship in a Mother’s Day video released by Victoria’s Secret.
In the emotional clip the Momma Named Me Sheriff star fought back tears as she shared the joy and pain that comes with being a mom.
She said: ‘I don’t think that I bargained to feel the pain of loving this much.
‘You think, “Oh, I’m gonna love my babies, oh, they’re going to mean the world to me” and feeling, “Wow, did I really want to feel the extent of this love? Cause it hurts. All the time.”‘
