Alex Fevola has revealed she’s open to the idea of filming a reality TV show with her famous family.

The fiancée of former AFL star Brendan Fevola told the Herald Sun’s Page 13 on Friday at the Crown Mother’s Day luncheon in Melbourne, that it’s not a firm no.

‘You look at what the Kardashians go through and they are open to so much scrutiny and judgment but I don’t know it would be incredibly fun. It is something we would maybe consider,’ the 45-year-old beauty entrepreneur said.

Alex, who recently launched her memoir Silver Linings, made headlines last month when she said she wants to put an end to the term ‘WAG’ once and for all.

The makeup artist denounced the popular acronym used to describe sportsmen’s wives and girlfriends during an interview with Mia Freedman’s No Filter podcast, branding the term ‘sexist and discriminatory’.

‘It doesn’t matter what you do, or who you are, that is your only validation in life is that you’re married to a sportsman,’ said Alex, who has been in an off-on relationship with Brendan, 41, since 2005.

‘[The term WAG] is really sexist because it does not happen the other way round. We don’t refer to Ash Barty’s partner… as a HAB (husbands and boyfriends). It’s just so strange.’

The mother-of-four said she’s tired of being defined by her relationship and the stigma that comes with being a WAG.

‘I think there’s such a stereotype and people literally assume that everybody who is married to a sportsman – particularly football – is one particular kind of person. And it’s just so not true.’

Alex said she feels the stigma of being a WAG has even robbed her of her identity.

‘It’s not just the term, it’s also everything you do, your husband gets the credit for it,’ she lamented.

‘Everything I’ve done in my life [they say], “Oh, that’s only because she’s married to Fev.” And, “Oh, that’s just because of his profile. She’d be nothing without him.” And I’ve heard that my whole life,’ she continued.

Despite her complaints, Alex did insist she doesn’t want to paint herself as a ‘victim’.

‘Don’t get me wrong, I definitely attribute a lot of my successes because of Brendan, as far as he’s introduced me to people I may not have ever met,’ she added.

‘He’s opened doors for me [where] I may have never had those opportunities. But at the same time, there’s a lot of things I’ve done in my life that have nothing to do with him.’

Brendan and Alex met in 2004 and married the following year.

In 2006, the couple briefly split following the Carlton player’s affair with bikini model Lara Bingle, 34, who is now married to actor Sam Worthington.

Brendan, who was 26 at the time, and Lara, then a 19-year-old model, reportedly met on the set of The Footy Show in Sydney and allegedly spent time together in Melbourne on several occasions.

Lara has previously claimed she did not know Brendan was married at the time, telling The Daily Telegraph in 2009 she only discovered his marital status when she heard his baby daughter crying while they were speaking on the phone.

Their short-lived alleged affair took another twist in 2010 when a nude image of Lara in the shower resurfaced and reportedly did the rounds in football circles.
