Boeing 737 aircraft crash: Emergency services rush to scene in Hawaii – rescue underway

The large cargo plane, a Boeing 737, had two people on board when it went down near the US state in the Pacific Ocean. The incident happened at around 1.45am local time around two miles away from Kalaeloa Airport. Two people were on board the aircraft at the time and have reportedly been rescued. 

The US Coast Guard is responding to the incident with a boat, helicopter and C-130 plane.

US media is reporting the plane is a Boeing 737 cargo aircraft and experienced engine problems.
