The singer has weathered a bit of controversy recently, after rapper Kanye West took to Instagram to demand that she apologize for her comments regarding Travis Scott and the Astroworld tragedy.

The 44-year-old musician even issued an ultimatum regarding his upcoming Coachella performance – which Billie and Kanye are headlining –  saying, ‘I need Billie to apologize before I perform.’

The issue stemmed from an earlier performance which saw the singer stop one of her shows in order to provide aid to a fan who was experiencing a medical emergency.

‘I wait for people to be OK until I keep going,’ the singer said, seeming to allude to Scott’s deadly Astroworld Festival while shaming the rapper’s conduct on stage.

Eilish commented back on Kanye’s post saying, ‘literally never said a thing about travis. was just helping a fan.’

The star replaced Scott on the Coachella bill after the tragic events at Astroworld.
